I saw him standing over the moon erasing
a penned arabian nightmare that never was

In the most etheral music of the soul,East and West did meet
as the sunset that peeped beyond the horizon in his silk chemise,
and the emerald mountains met the stars at the center of my heart
the longing was dying on the mayan rose petals
torn from the wronged tale of romeo and juliet of Arabia
that was never but the fanfare of a shallow poet
Arabia weaves its tales in the sand, beautiful and fragile
the mirage is breathing free, gentle and joyous..

I felt Amadeus so close as he listened to my sorrow
The moon had closed her eyes as she watched
the sun die ahead of the desert summers, sacrileged and in tears.
Play Amadeus, silence my anguish of that horrid lie
Let thy menuet break into a million of tiny bells flowers
white as the snow, over the trails of the bedouins
play the menuet of reincarnation as pure as our intent
to be reborn in the heart, incognito and non grata...but true......
