I found a place to lay my mind

I follow the ascent of time
to the eternal flame
melting the Damascus sword
over the crown of the British Empire
Tears of leads in pools of jewels
drawn deep into another
So divine is the desire of Fate
that no power can hold back
the opening of that doorway
through their universe.
